Executive & Managing Director

Primitive Sounds was born through a young entrepreneur’s vision of 'Creating New Opportunities for Young People' in early 2004. Originally an organisation  providing practical, accessible workshops for young people through European Grant Funding, the organisation naturally progressed and developed to create a commercially viable opportunity alongside its huge social mission of delivery high impact, sustainable projects to young people in the U.K.

The concept was originally conceived by the Executive and Managing Director during secondary school. As an experienced youth/play worker and a semi-professional sound engineer working within both areas at the time, he built up a unique understanding of the issues affecting young people in today's society along with the need for quality, specialist services in the creative industries that were fuelled by passion for the job rather than a business plan.

Over the past two years the company has been developing from strength to strength, expanding its remit and working alongside other organizations, companies and charities to deliver its fundamental social mission of creating opportunities for young people in the creative industries.
